1. Uploading Files
Web: Drag and drop files into the browser window or click the "+" icon > Upload file.
Desktop App: Save files into your synced OmniEx Cloud folder – they’ll upload automatically.
Mobile App: Tap the "+" icon and select files from your device to upload.
2. Creating Folders
Click the “+” button and select New folder.
Name the folder and hit Enter.
3. Sharing Files or Folders
Click the Share icon (a person with a +) next to the file/folder.
Choose:
Share link: Send public download links (optionally with passwords & expiry).
Share with user/group: Share with another user inside your cloud.
Set permissions (view, edit, upload).
4. Downloading Files
Click on a file to preview it.
Click the Download button at the top.
For multiple files, select them using the checkboxes, then click Download.
5. Editing Documents Online
With OnlyOffice or Collabora enabled, click on .docx/.xlsx/.pptx files to edit them directly in your browser—no software needed.
6. Syncing with Desktop
Install the Nextcloud Desktop App.
Log in using your Cloud URL and credentials.
Choose which folders to sync.
Files will be mirrored on your computer.
7. Accessing from Mobile
Download the Nextcloud app from the App Store or Google Play.
Log in with your OmniEx Cloud credentials.
Access, upload, or share files on the go.
8. Searching for Files
Use the Search bar at the top to find files by name, tag, or content (if full-text search is enabled).
9. Restoring Deleted Files
Go to the Deleted Files app in the sidebar.
Find your file and click Restore.
Files can be recovered within the retention period (usually 30 days).
10. File Tagging and Comments
Tag files for easier searching and filtering.
Add comments to collaborate with your team on specific documents.
